Memory trails provide an opportunity for people living with dementia and their career to spend time together in a safe recognizable place and join in with a community.

People living with dementia often retain long term memories better than short term ones. Memories can be tied to places and objects, and can be triggered by the sight, smell or sound of something familiar to them.
