Dear Members and Friends of Mayfield Salisbury Congregation

As I write, the effects of Storm Dennis are still in evidence, in parts of the Scottish Borders and in swathes of England where people are still on alert as more rain is forecast. We’ve been lucky in Edinburgh, and our profound sympathy must surely be with those whose homes and businesses have been ruined by flooding. If anything is needed to focus British minds on climate, surely it’s this. I’ve been thinking about storms and their names.....................................
