In 1877, Free Tron Church moved into a new building at 18-20 Chambers Street. The stay in chambers street was short and the congregation moved to Suffolk Road in 1895, using the hall of St Margarets School until the new Craigmillar Park Free Church was ready in 1899.

The Chambers Street building was sold to the Free Presbyterian Church. It still exists and is now in use by Edinburgh University, as part of Minto House, although it is considerably altered internally.
